I like the bucket design. It is great for the for 70% of the time I cook fries or nuggets. Bigger stuff is mostly one at a time (pork chop, fish, chicken breast) in this size. Buckets can be more cumbersome to clean in that we are using some pretty thin teflon coated mettel. I scotch brite padded the teflon off fairly quick..
A Toaster oven type air fryer are better if what you are cooking most often are things like chicken breasts and chops because of the larger cooking area to cook more than one..
There were some crazy good deals on BF, but I think I will wait until the one I have fails first. I am on my second and that one is one Mom got my off TV with a rotisserie basket for the fries and tot that I hate.. It is too hot to open when you dump out the fries.. But why replace some thing that still works.
That sub $100 Cuisinart (HUGE counter space hog) is probably the one I I would have got this year. I wish Santa might have thought about that.
If you are doing just the fries for 2 to 4 people this works fine. Disposable price. Simple design.
