Any idea if it would work well with a Uniview nvr?
It's still hard to justify $90 though when Alibaba has actual uniview cameras for like $80-$150

This should be a Hikvision OEM camera - so I would expect if to be able to run ONVIF .. tho it may need 2 channels for the video streams ( one per lens ).

Our community has rated this post as helpful. If you agree, why not thank init0
If it is quality in your experience, say so.
If it is security, assume most brands call home to the prk.
Most just learn how separate LAN's and/or point to a null route so that any exfil to
the evil lair is dropped.

If you feel that any Joe-6 pack has the ability or knowledge to (simply) configure their home router with multiple vlans, null routes or sinkholes you might be mistaken.
Additionally, if you think these devices just speak back directly to the evil lair - guess again.
And, in conclusion, if "security" isn't a compelling enough reason - what would a compelling reason be in your mind? I'm dying to know.
As the prior person mentioned, all that super techy security stuff is definitely above the paygrade for joe blow looking for some basic "peace of mind" cams.

In general Reolink uses more affordable components and thus has serious challenges capturing low light images of suspects .. see the threads at ipcamtalk for more examples of this and other issues.
I would recommend getting better cameras than Reolink offers.

In general many like the following solution:
Blue Iris VMS on a used business class PC + WD purple HDD for storage ( SSD for boot )
PoE switch
and either Dahua OEM or Hikvision OEM cameras which have larger sensors ( 4MP 1/1.8" or 8MP w/1.1.2" )
for particular models, numerous reviews and guides now at ipcamtalk by the community, as well as some posts here in past camera posts here in SDs.
Note, sometimes you can see models from Hikvision / Dahua branded under other brands which are / were popular ( Amcrest, LaView, Swann, Lorex, .. ) however I have not seen many cameras I like with larger sensors since the pandemic supply chain crash .. so getting cameras directly from Hong Kong via sellers in Amazon is good ( look at ipcamtalk for their recommended vendors .. iirc 4 solid vendors listed there .. )
bottom line: spend money on a camera which meets ONVIF specs and has larger sensor.
remember the most important it the cable runs .. sooner or later cameras die or just want better cameras. ( ideally want to see if you can get the cameras to last a long time, so look for installation notes at ipcamtalk .. hint di-electric gel and drip loops .. )
