OP's plates are made to be dropped from overhead (solid rubber plate). The one you linked to is just an iron plate with a rubber coating applied.

I got the 160lb set from Walmart when they were $160; they are pretty decent and I personally prefer this material to the black crumb rubber of the Hi-Temp/ cheaper Rogue stuff. It's hard to beat $/lb shipped. I'm not doing any stupid CrossFit TikTok weight dropping though

I know it's not the intended use, but how will these fare outdoors in moderate weather (some rain, occasional snow)? Imagine not well but figured I'd ask.

I bought a bunch for outside use the last time they were on sale too. I got them a few weeks ago and am storing them out of direct sun/rain but theyve been snowed on a bit the last couple weeks. Figure it's worth taking a chance outside and probably will do better than cheap cast iron.

I'm pretty sure I'm not getting these.
I got most of mine. Problem is, one 45 from the order was not delivered due to package damage. But, the tracking for the label for that one was for a 25. But I got both 25s and only one 45. I chatted with CS and got a refund to cover the cost of a 45. I ordered another 45 separately, and that package was delivered today. It's a 25. Like, in 1 1/4" tall lettering on the cardboard it says 25 lbs, but the fedex label says 45. The ppl processing these orders just can't/won't read.

Just to say, you might get something eventually, but definitely check before you start opening things up.

The only real risk you run with these is the center metal insert rusting out, which it 100% will do when exposed to elements. I don't think that's enough of a deterrent, but definitely consider that your immediate reality.

Other than that, covering them up and keeping them as dry as possible would be your best bet.
