The company who makes these, east penn, also makes deka batteries which are well known in the commercial/ Hd equipment community. I can't speak to whether these are the same quality, but deka makes a fantastic battery. Costco interstate batteries are routinely well under $100 (vary by size) and are great value. Everybody charges a core. You either bring a battery with you to swap (no core charge) or save the old one now and use it for a core next time. for the price and the relatively crappy reputation Duracell rebranding has, this deal is not slick IMO.

PSA: the best thing you can do for your car battery is put it on a smart battery conditioner (~$50) every few months and let it get to full capacity. Unless you abuse your car battery (routinely let it get below 12v), this will keep a decent lead acid battery going reliably for 10+ years

Walmart has their Everstart brand (made by Johnson Controls) for $60. They last me around 3 years with the harsh winters here.

I stopped buying the brand name lead acid batteries, they're all made by 3 major companies in the USA. Autozone/O'Riley's want more than double for the same battery size/CCA Walmart sells - it makes no sense.
1 year warranty on those.

Thanks, I've been topping up the batteries on my ram when I need to use it for something. 7 year old duralast batteries haven't been able to handle the cold. Just bought a pair of the Duracell 94R for it.

Have had to recharge my battery to full twice in the last month, brought in to test Sam's Club they said my 500cca battery tested at 565cca and was good like new 🤦. Brought to advanced and AutoZone both said bad and replace only 225-250cca left. Only a few months warranty left on the battery. Hope your Sam's is better than mine.

Sam's installs them for free. Costco doesn't.

My current battery from Walmart Everlast is 4.5 years old. Zero issues. However, the same exact battery went from $109 to now $149. I will go ahead and buy this now and save $40. Thanks and repped!

But no free install at Costco. Auto services are generally a better deal at sams and Walmart is what I've noticed

That's true. I bought their "maxx" ones with the 3 year warranty until they wouldn't honor it. I had my receipt and proof from a repair shop that the car wouldn't start randomly when cold. Their instant battery tester said it was fine so they told me to go away. And yes, a new battery resolved the issue.
