Walmart has their Everstart brand (made by Johnson Controls) for $60. They last me around 3 years with the harsh winters here.
I stopped buying the brand name lead acid batteries, they're all made by 3 major companies in the USA. Autozone/O'Riley's want more than double for the same battery size/CCA Walmart sells - it makes no sense.
That's true. I bought their "maxx" ones with the 3 year warranty until they wouldn't honor it. I had my receipt and proof from a repair shop that the car wouldn't start randomly when cold. Their instant battery tester said it was fine so they told me to go away. And yes, a new battery resolved the issue.
Same with Sams batteries. They have to submit the testing paper as proof for replacement to Johnson Controls is what I was told when my battery kept testing as fine the other day but car would be dead in front of the technician. Turns out the wire wasn't tightened and a simple wrench fixed the issue. In 99% of cases those testers are pretty accurate. Maybe the terminal wasn't tightened.

The Sam's Duracell car batteries always die right after the 3rd year for me. The Costco Interstate batteries always last me over 5 for the same price or less.

Great battery's last about 8 months in solar array then swap out for new ones make sure to drain your battery s to 20 percent on a regular bases to keep them lead acid plates happy
Know that Marine Deep Cycle batteries are better suited for Solar array service; the thicker plates of deep cycle are designed to be repeatedly charged and drained without least loss of lifetime.

Wondering what is special about this price. Doesn't batteriesplus sell at this price after coupon etc. I remember paying the same or lesser price from batteriesplus when there was no deal or anything like that - just regular coupons
Might need to check your car too. Not ruling out the possibility of a defective battery, but when you get too many defective batteries maybe the problem isn't the battery. A proper functioning vehicle shouldn't go through battery so often.
Last time I went through 2 batteries, found out it was the 'new' LED headlight I put in. It wasn't working well with the car's auto turn off headlight. It left ON a few times during the day (hard to see that the headlight is on). It drain and kill the batteries.

Guys. Check out your dealers for batteries. Not sure other dealers, Toyota batteries have 84 months and Honda batteries have 100 months warranty. Price is about the same or less than autozone and others.
