I have my credit frozen through all credit bureaus and applied last month and got approved. No hard or soft pull on reloadable

You can use the code online first and then use it in store. To be safe, try doing both purchases within the same day.

Source: Did this with two coupons earlier this month.

It's not worth it if they pull your credit, there's so many other cards that will give you better incentives. If they pull your credit then mind as well get more with a credit card right?!

I just discover today that my target red debit card is already closed by target. This red debit card is not used for a long time (>=1 year). Anybody knows why?
Correct I was told if you don't use it for 12 months no activity they will auto shut it for security reasons.

Thanks Jatan, so its best to use it in store first and then place an in-store pickup order.

Does the order needs to be paid via the reloadable debit (or can I pay with any CC).
Doesn't matter -- I like doing in store first so I don't have to cancel the transaction if the coupon doesn't work twice (if Target decides to fix the double dip)

I paid with Target GC -- don't have to use red card

Did you need to activate the card online or it's not tied to the coupon so it won't matter activating or not? Just curious.
Coupon is completely separate -- nothing to activate and red card doesn't matter

Has the offer expired? I don't see it on the offer page for the $40 off coupon.

Thanks for your information.

Any way to keep it active if there is no need to have any transaction on target red card in one year?

With the debit card, we used to just swipe it every now and then for smaller purchases when we shopped, like pack of gum or grocery.

Someone else can chime in as I just got the reloadable card and it has Visa debit feature, I wonder if it can be useed at other retailers b/c its like a debit card like Chime ?

Not sure -- so far both store and online codes have remained separate so you could do both in any order

Someone else will have to confirm if the double dip still works

I did the online first, hard to find anything that worked for the discount.
I ordered a Cuisinart pot and cover for $39.99 and some filler to get over $40.
I went to a store and bought food for $43 and the coupon worked again.
This was today around 5:30 pm

You didn't use the UPC code for online did you?
Otherwise make sure the online promo code was entered right, (zero's vs O's etc.

Double dip worked Sunday for me.
