I have my credit frozen through all credit bureaus and applied last month and got approved. No hard or soft pull on reloadable
You can use the code online first and then use it in store. To be safe, try doing both purchases within the same day.

Source: Did this with two coupons earlier this month.
It's not worth it if they pull your credit, there's so many other cards that will give you better incentives. If they pull your credit then mind as well get more with a credit card right?!

I did this on the BF deal, just used the coupon a couple days ago. Do I need to ever activate or load the card at all? I haven't yet, and I already have a debit RedCard.

Assuming no credit pull?

And if I already have debit card will this work?

The real question is...if you did the previous deal, and then cancelled your card, if you can do it again. Big Grin

I've seen some people say there is a credit pull but others have said that they never got one. Maybe lock your credit before you try.

So odd to pull credit in a reloadable.

I'm almost sure there is no credit check for the debit or reloadable RedCard, and it's mentioned somewhere in the fine print when you apply.

Also, the $40 offer applies for the credit, debit, or reloadable card just like the BF one last month.

I used the coupon with my typical Red Card. My reloadable has $0 on it, and don't plan to use it.
