I did not realize this was such a polarizing movie. I have only watched the director's cut so not sure how this version compares. For me it was one of my favorite movies I have seen, especially in the horror genre. I felt pulled in by the strangeness and the whole lore of the village. As I get older, it is becoming more difficult to suspend disbelief watching movies and TV so it is a nice treat to experience that again.

Witch (one I didn't care for but a lot of people did) and Hereditary are also cheap with the same coupon.

Woman with tons of emotional baggage finds a catharsis (of sorts)? I liked the movie.

Great price! Wish A24 would put the Director's Cut on sale on their site, its pushing $50! Read its the superior cut.

In terms of summer camp-themed movies, I think I still prefer Meatballs and Addams Family Values, but this is easily a strong third place in the genre. /s

I don't recommend this movie. About a creepy cult in Sweden. Don't get me wrong I like creepy movies....but this is just....well....no. Just to try and say something good about the movie, There are some nice scenes of artistry. But the movie goes nowhere and kind of doesn't have a point. And the ending is clear in one way, but puzzling in another. If someone has anything virtuous to say about this movie....I'd like to here a different perspective...at the very least to make me feel like I didn't waste my time...One doesn't feel good after watching it.

[EDIT: And Florence Pugh is amazing in just about everything she's been in.]

This! Exactly my thoughts. Probably the most disturbing movie I've ever seen.

It's fun to look at the art and paintings throughout the village on additional viewings to foreshadow the horror unfolding.

Someone told me this was a movie about finding yourself and family. They technically weren't wrong.

Garbage movie.
Probably one of my top ten movies of the decade. Director Ari Aster is a f-into genuis.
