Sorry I'm not a regular poster, I updated it now.
This is the newer models P321 and P326, both are upgrades over the older P320 and P325 models and have inherited several more features from the Milwaukee if my research is correct.
A lot of people are 100% in a certain brand for cordless but eventually dip into RYOBI to be able to get one-off or occasional use only type tools that are significantly cheaper with RYOBI or don't exist in their battery ecosystem. This was me with Makita until recently when I dipped into Ryobi for opportunities such as this where Makita's cordless nailers are both way more expensive and not significantly better.

I am renovating and will likely swap a lot of baseboard and door trim in the near future, though that will be a 1-time project.
These days, brad nailer, then the pin nailer. The nice thing about the pinner is 99% of the time you don't have to fill the pin holes.

you wouldn't recommend 16ga nails for crown moulding?
No, brad nailer, which are 18 gauge. The brad nailer will shoot up to 2 inch brad nails, so no worries there.

Ryobi makes some of the best nailers in the industry. I own the older and newer brushed 18G brad nailers, plus the 15G finish nailer, as well as the crown stapler. They are all fantastic, I don't know if I remember ever getting a misfire from any of them. I also don't think any of them have ever jammed up on me.The bulk of my tools are Ridgid, but all of my nailers are Ryobi.

In general 16 ga nails are the industry standard for crown moulding. That being said it depends. If you put up a backer strip, you can get by with 2" nails, 18 ga will work fine. Without a backer, I would step up to 2.5" 16 ga nails. The 18's are preferred because they leave a smaller cleaner hole, but when you need more than 2" of nail, the thicker gauge gives you that.

Ryobi has a framing nailer coming out this year (2023) that's been getting good reviews, but I don't think it's available for purchase yet.
