I much prefer rectangular containers to optimize space use in the freezer...

These are polypropylene (pp5) in case anyone is wondering. I use these and similar pp5 containers for storing oil-based finishes and mineral spirits in small amounts for specific projects when woodworking. Very handy, but it's important to not put the wrong solvent in the wrong type of plastic container. More detailed info can be found here:

ive had these for about 4 years now and they are alright.
The round and tall shape is kind of awkward for many items apart from liquid, yet I would not trust the seal 100%.
The lid is a bit weak: 3 of time have chipped in the first year or two.
Its nice that they stack. nowadays I just use them to hold grapes or something

Did you leave the lids unscrewed while freezing? I imagine this could happen if they are sealed and the broth inside expands while turning from liquid to solid.

I wish they would've kept the medium size that was shorter and wider. Was a perfect size for me.

Got these for $3.39 on Amazon 5 years ago. 100%+ inflation in 5 years. These are fine and I have only one or two left out of the 6. These others are broken in various ways.

I got these in 2017 for $3.51. I still have all 6 but the lips under the threads have broken off on some. Doesn't affect the lids from screwing on though.

Wide mouth mason jars with plastic lids are around the same price and made of glass. And they don't explode in the freezer unless you over fill them, same as plastic.

Nothing says reuseable/disposable better than dollar store. 6 x 1.25 gives you $7.50 @ ds every day.

I also bought a 6 pack of small... When checking out, it said that if I switched to subscribe and save they would take 40% off. So it cost a little over $4 instead of nearly $7. I didn't see any subscribe and save coupon. Maybe someone else can see if that works. Add the six pack of small to the cart as a one time purchase. Then go to check out. See if it says you'll save 40% by shipping to subscribe and save. If you click it to change to subscribe and save it takes off another $2.43. YMMV.
