It comes with the low end 1 TB WD Blue drive @ 5400 rpm. and a 256 M2 2242 drive, half the size of a modern M2 2280 You have to move the metal bracket down to accommodate a M2 2280 drive for an upgrade and place the M2 2280 over the thermal pad.
There are two dimm, memory slots, a proprietary motherboard and proprietary power supply. For the size of this case, there are no other expansion options for additional storage.
Desktop measurement's is 12" L x 6" W x 12" H. If you are ok with the storage options as is, this maybe ok for your needs..

Seems good to me for what it is, but can probably do better with an amex $150 offer if they come back.
HDMI 1.4 (Maximum resolution supported over HDMI is 1920x1200 @60Hz. No 4K/2K output)
thoughts on if this is bad?

For the GPU by itself, the RX 6600 (~$200) and RX 6600 XT (~$250) have been the best deals for solid 1080p gaming lately. The 6600 XT can even handle some 1440p, although you'd have to make compromises with the most demanding games. Overall, I'd recommend at least 6 GB VRAM at this level although recent GPUs have 8 GB now in this range now.
I've seen refurbished GTX 1660 Ti/super desktops go for about $400+. On the other end, new RTX 3060 and RX 6600 XT desktops will probably be double or more. I'd want at minimum Intel i5 10th gen or Ryzen 3600 for a low budget build. Intel 12th gen i5 or Ryzen 5600 is solid for nearly every mid range GPU so beyond that point the CPU would make little difference.

Edit: looks like this model has dp so a dp to hdmi 2.0 converter for about 10-20 dollars will solve the problem. Dell also states it supports up to gtx 1660 super, probably if it is the 300w psu variant or if the gpu does not require external 6 pin 12v rail.
