Bought this yesterday at the store locally. Assembly was not bad at all, only 6 steps with labelled hardware per step. All put together it's pretty solid and first run on it was smooth. The Dick's version of this treadmill has a different console attachment than the one you can get directly from Horizon, but I actually prefer it. Button layout is different and there is an extra mount for a tablet which mounts above the build in 7" screen. On the other console the external tablet would block the built-in screen.
Darn, I just bought the lower tier one which is $699 (well reviewed).
FWIW, delivery inside the house with full assembly was an extra $150. Can be worth it with these heavy treadmills, and for those not wanting to deal with assembly.
Just picked this up yesterday. As a tall(6'6") user this is great. I don't feel like I am going to fall off or have to stay in a very small area to not injure myself. The treadmill picks ups speed quickly with the 3HP motor. Ran a bit with the Zwift app. But you don't need any app to operate this device. You can just plug it in and go. It also comes with a chest heart rate monitor that once paired, displays your HR on the display so you don't need to grip the handles.
My wife was in the market for a treadmill last month and I did some extensive research on them. I narrowed it down to the AT 7.0 and the Nautilus T618. Both are pretty comparable and both on sale for the same price. The AT 7.0 has a few more bells and whistles (that we were not looking for), but the build quality and warranty seemed much better on the Nautilus after they figured out their cracking deck issue. The Horizon has a longer frame and motor warranty, but I don't see myself owning the same treadmill for more than 15 years anyways (nautilus warranty).
Both are currently the same price, however free shipping on the latter.
So I want to pick this up and put it upstairs at my house. How difficult is it to get this thing upstairs? Would I be better off paying for the "in-room delivery" or whatever its called? Or can you open the box and carry the pieces up individually?
From personal experience, I would stay away from Horizon treadmills. I bought one in Jan of 2020 and had to have it service within 11 months (still under warranty). The service company that came to work on it told me Horizon treadmills are absolute junk. They are constantly going on service calls for Horizon units.
Less than 6 months later, after replacing the motor, main drive pulley & belt during the warranty repair, it was having issues again. The motor and motor control board were getting extremely hot (I could smell the heat while walking on it after about 20-25 minutes). The motor was still under warranty, so Horizon sent me a motor. That did not fix it. They offered to discount the price of the control board and sell it to me, but made no guarantee it would remedy the issue. I was not interested in that and after many back and forth phone calls & emails (over about a 6 week time frame), I finally got high enough on the ladder that I convinced the supervisor to issue me a refund. I was happy with the end result, that they finally made things right with me, but I will never buy a Horizon product again.

Did they ever figure out their cracking deck issue?
Looks like it. The reviews for cracking decks all seem to be a few years old now and from what I have seen, they have replaced them all and make all of the current ones with an updated more robust design.
searching for a new treadmill, my 7.0 was bought two years ago, absolutely a junk, now I listed issues:
1) three months usage, big noise on frame, replaced a new one
2) the new one after 6 months, static electric shock on handle, noise started
3) 1 year usage, belt started to peel off
I once bought an used sole one, maybe F80, and used it for 5 years, no any issue.

It comes out around $50 cheaper due to lower shipping rate.

I cross shopped all the treadmills in this thread and ultimately went with the sole and am happy with it so far
