I think they were pointing out you could get it shipped to your door for the same/less price. Don't have to drive to pick up etc.

I assume the bar won't last more than a few years of regular use and if you're not in a rush bumper plates have been at $1/lb in several recent deals.

This deal is still worth getting for someone who wants weights now and will be useful even if you do upgrade later.
