I have one of these in a 2 car garage filled with everything but cars. Motion detection is very good, color is good , mostly white light with a hint of blue. RIDICULOUSLY bright. I would probably have to wear sunglasses if I installed 4 of them in a 2 car garage like I was planning to.

My local Walmart had these clearanced out and I picked up a few. I couldn't really tell a big light difference between a normally sized 4ft shop light and these 3ft lights. I really like the transparent cover/diffuser over the LEDs. I have a few older shop lights with exposed LED strips that work great but are a pain in the eyeball if you have to look towards them.

I looked over the documentation that comes with it and it appears that daisy chaining these together provides passive power, so each light will be independently controlled by their own pull chain and PIR (person infrared) sensor.

I have these- don't think that's what happened when I tested.
Needed to move around to trigger. Maybe they were too far apart (~6 ft)

Does anyone know how the motion detection and pull switch works if you link these lights? If you turn off the first light using the pull switch, will all other lights turn off too, or are all of them still independently controlled by their respective switches/motion detectors?
Yeah the motion activation only works per light i.e. if you connect more than one, all of them won't automatically turn on, you must walk near it to activate.

Still very bright, I might snag two more, so far so good on these!

I bought a bunch of these last month for the same price. I highly recommend!
Super light so easy to mount or hang literally anywhere, and extremely bright. My mother saw me hang one up and asked me to get her some for her closet. They're water resistant so she has one in the bathroom as a vanity light. You can see every wrinkle and pore on your skin! These are very good and I plan on buying more.

Anyone tried hard wiring them? I want to control from a light switch and I have no outlet in the ceiling.

I put one of these under my kids loft bed two weeks ago. It was always dark and he barely ever went there to play with his toys. After putting this up I can barely get him to come out from under the bed to eat and sleep. He loves the motion sensor. It works great. He said it will let him if a monster is hiding under the bed. Best 10 bucks I ever spent.

I assume you have a light socket or junction box in the ceiling? Just convert/install a plug. It will then be a switch-controlled plug. That's what I have.

They work independently and there is a switch for the motion sensor.

Shouldn't be that hard if you know what you're doing.

Looking to replace our fluorescent lights and maybe the ballasts... Only learned the other night that you can't just pop in a LED tube light to a fluorescent ballast. I guess I need a dummy starter at least...

Wish these were more like 4ft and not as bright as people are saying... the price would be right otherwise. A 2 pack of LED bulbs from a local store cost over $15 easily

Just a thought but for those wanting motion sensing applied to all linked lights, the solution might be to use a smart plug + smart motion sensor. Or a motion sensing wall switch (if there is a switch-controlled outlet).

These just have a motion sensor and not a light sensor, correct? For example, if it's not dark the light will still come on if it detects motion?
