From what I see in product reviews and posted pictures if you plan on using this for a heavy set of dumbells it's not going to properly space them out. So they'll be resting on top of themselves. My guess is this would be fine for a 15 through 35 set.

It's just a weight rack, why would you build it to hold much weight.

5-25 works great, yes I think there is room up to 35 but they will be touching each other

The rubber things fall off, so I would plan on gluing them on with glue you provide. Otherwise it does the job.
