Yep, still a nice deal but I was about to buy first and ask questions later. Now I don't know..still should go FP if it stays alive but there will be concessions using this. If it was QHD it'd be like a +200 FP deal.

Then again it's 165hz and 1ms. So, even at 1080p this is without a doubt a good deal.

32" monitors, even 1080p haven't been this price since before the virus of unknown origins.

I have this monitor, works well for office dooties.

300 nit brightness is also very poor. Screen is going to look very dull and washed out compared to HDR displays. Might be ok as a office, spare, or a project but terrible for media consumption.

I don't know who would be using this for pure media consumption and based on the lighting conditions most gamers seem to game in (darker/dim rooms) 300 nits is going to be fine, especially if they're getting the low input lag and high refresh rate.

It's the 1080p that might be an issue imo, not the brightness.

Been using one for the last year or so. The lighting isn't uniform, but the High refresh rate makes up for that. Also like the fact that you can adjust your display thru windows using the acer app. Just ordered a second one to compliment the first one. At $120 it's a good option.

Got this when it was $149 for my tween. He uses it for light gaming purposes and he loves it. Can't speak to how advanced techies would be, but it was the big gift for him. Wish I could price adjust.

Would be way better to game on than a $120 TV. Consoles now have freesync and 120fps so for that purpose it's a screaming deal.

I've had two for about 2 years. They are great and a true 165 hz. If I ever go 1440 I'll just have 3 monitors and use the 1440 for games.

Funny how gamers put this monitor down pretty quick!... well, we are not all 40 years old dudes still playing video games here.

I've been running two of these for the past two years for office use. Can confirm that they work well for that purpose.
