You cannot remotely access the SD card on the Roku version.... Which means every few days you have to pull the card , view footage, wipe, reinstall. Doin g that over 4 cameras every few days is dumb.

For those concerned about security, best to put any IoT devices in a separate vlan. That way it doesn't touch your computers. Don't have a router that can provide multiple separate SSIDs? Time to upgrade routers.

I also put one outside. near my pool and back gate. Nice stuff! I put some silicone covers on the ones that are taking direct weather hits. I'm in South Bend, IN, so we get lake effect snow and 100 degree summers. They've held up to everything but a squirrel chewing through a non-replaceable part of a cable on the back. Lesson learned, and these are cheap enough to just replace!
