Sure I did this. Just installed an electrical outlet where the old fluorescent was hard wired in and plugged into the outlet.

can you disable the motion sensor? it might get frustrating to be working on something in the garage in a place that the sensor can't see you.

Theres a button on the light to shut the motion sensor off .

Btw , these lights are great , on my third purchased set . So far Ive only installed a pair in my garage and man do they light up my garage nicely and the sensors work great (turning on) . Ive not been out in the garage long enough yet to see if they will turn off while Iam still out there , but they have turned off like they are supposed to when Iam NOT out there .

You can tap into a current light bulb with this base with outlet included. I did this with mine and now everything turns on with the same switch.

I just received these light from the last deal a few days ago. I made 3 orders and each order only came with 1pk, not 2pk. A few other people from the previous thread also had the same issue.

Small lights but very bright. I hung mine under the garage door motors. Motion sensor is a plus. If you wanted to use these as work bench lights you would have to use both. These lamps are single bulb.
