I got the slightly smaller 71"x26" saluspa laguna model from Costco 2 weeks ago. I have used it almost every day since. These are all more or less the same with slight differences in control panels and aesthetics.

Setup was simple. Took under 2 hours from unboxing to tub filled. Instructions aren't clearly written but there are a lot of videos about how to operate these online. This is my first spa so the hardest part of startup was learning the chemicals. Once I could read the test strip and balance the water it's been a breeze.

The base temp of my water was 58F when filled and reached 104 within 12 hours.
I turn it off after using in the evenings and it's been dropping to around 91F overnight. I think it takes around 5 hours to reach max temp again, but I start it earlier for wiggle room.

Temp drop and heat up time will vary on your insulation and climate situation. My spa is sitting on 3/4 inch thick puzzle gym mats. Underneath are some moving blankets. The spa is in an enclosed patio but the temp is the same as outside which has been dropping to mid 40'sF. I've seen some folks add extra insulation all around the tub and pump to help retain the heat so you can DIY that if need be.

Maintenance has been easy. I test strip the water when I know I'm going to use it later. With 1-2 people using the spa daily I rinse out the filter every 3 days or so, it's still clean. With more use and people in the spa I imagine you'll have to rinse the filter more often. I keep a foam scum-absorber floating in there and so far have noticed no stains or nastiness collecting on the inflatable surfaces.

Capacity. My 71"x26" could probably fit 3 adults max. 2 adults can extend legs comfortably for sure. So this larger version would probably hold 3-4 adults comfortably. 7 ain't happening. The biggest issue you could have is all that volume making the water too high. But everyone would have to sit legs tucked to even fit.

The pump is pretty quiet when running. The bubbles are nice but the blower is loud when those are running. You won't be able to hear music when those are on unless it's blasting. When the bubbles turn on the heating function stops so you'll notice the temp begin to drop as minutes go by. I ran bubbles for around 10 minutes and that dropped the temp from 104 to 99.

Overall super happy with the Costco one. It's perfect size for 2 and I've been getting near daily use out of it. Maintaining it has been oddly zen for me, the daily balance check and reward of a nice evening soak is a great trade. Maybe the real trade will be seeing the power bill in a month. From what I've heard it's nothing insane unless you're in a freezing climate and keep it turned on 24/7. Getting this much use from it has sold me on getting a nicer tub down the road.
It's a round object, so 85 inches wide and 28 inches tall. No matter how you turn it, it will be 85 inches wide.
Place a horse mat (thick rubber mat) on the concrete and add a radiant barrier on top of that to insulate heat for the hot tub. It's not nearly $25 a month extra and stays at max temp even during the winter.

104 seems cold… I'd want a hot tub that gets above 120. Is that crazy?

Yes…120 is scald risk temperature.

I've been told to expect around $100/mo increase on my electric bill to keep this at constant temperature, which is what you're supposed to do. Can anyone confirm? Obviously it depends on $/kwh
We have this hot tub. We've had to keep it on constantly because we live in Upstate NY. Our power bill went up $300 in one month. Sadly, I think we're going to have to drain it as I can't see a reason to keep it going for $300 per month.

Yes its absolutely crazy, and slightly stupid. 120 is scolding hot on your skin, hell 104 is pretty scolding in general when you first get in it. You'd die after being in 120 degree water for a short period of time.

''Residential water heaters warm up tap water typically to 120 oF (48 oC). At this temperature, the skin of adults requires an average of five minutes of exposure for a full thickness burn to occur."

Depends what you're planning to cook in it.
