I have had this exact 100' cord for 3 1/2 years for electric lawn equipment. It has started to split in a few places where the inner wires (coated) have begun to stick out of the main covering. I continue to use it but was looking for a replacement.

I used to roll it up on a wheel but learned that wasn't a good way to store it and have use the recommended way for the last 1 plus years. Hoping that this recommended way keeps the next cord in better shape longer.
What is the recommended way you are referring to?

No idea what the quality is, but if you can find one at this price, it's a great deal!

Couple years ago, after moving to the Buffalo area, I picked up an electric snow blower, along with a 100 foot 12/3 extension cord. The cord ran me ~$50. Figure the inflation we're seeing these days, and I'd consider the price of this deal to be 50% of what it could be!

I found the 50' at a Lowes about an hour from me, but if I try to ship, the prices suddenly triple.

Also found them at a HD for a good price and the same thing happened. Isn't there some method to keep the store price when having items shipped to you ?

Is it safe to use this 15A heavy duty cable with a car battery charger that charges at around 16.5A (max 40A for jump starting)?

I thought you can get 2 of these 12/3 50' cords at Costco for $49 or less everyday. This link shows it is out of stock, but they are available in the stores: https://www.costco.com/outdoor-50...07236.html

40A at 15V is probably less than 11A at 120V, so yes, absolutely.

Ordered the 25 and 50 expecting to be cancelled. But got an email that they are ready for pickup. They couldn't find them when I was in store ???. This is Bloomfield Ct. wonder if they found the stash of 100 footers.
Nope...not as of an hour ago 🤣

They said there was 28 of them "somewhere" in the store.

I did get a 50' and 2 25' though

Why are you giving advice which is straight forward dangerous? The gauge of the wire is designed for current rating NOT power rating, so you can send higher than 120 voltage as long as it's below rated of insulation (could be up to 600V I think or 300V they will mark that on the wire itself) BUT you can NOT send higher than rated current since the wire will become heating element as higher current than what 12GA thickness of copper can handle goes through it and meets the internal resistance of the wire. There are different materials wire can be made so it handles higher than pure copper current but in this case if it's rated to 15A then stick to that as constant max, as far as short instance it should handle around 20A but I wouldn't run it at that rating for long.
For simple example imagine sending 20 people through tunnel that can only fit 15 wide and ask them how they feel about it.

Yes probably about the same, but I'm less tempted because that one doesn't have 150+ TU 🤣
