I would suggest you replace your wall outlet. Older wall outlets tend to have their receptacles wear out causing the plug receptacle to become worn out. I bought this plug last month and the fit is tight, not loose. When I bought my house I replaced every outlet with new ones, it's very inexpensive but labor intensive to replace but it's worth it!

There are plenty of chargers with both ports. Search usb-c usb-a dual charging on Amazon. Plenty should show up in your search.

Anybody have this? Does it stay in the wall? I have a couple multi port chargers shaped kind of like this and they never want to stay in place. Really annoying....

Wish most airports and airlines would do this. It's often that heavier chargers designed like this one do not fair well in highly trafficked areas where plugs are used by millions of people regularly.
Just bend the prongs in a little...

any outlet that is ~65 years old is going to be loose, just think for a second how many times and things have been plugged into it over the years. too much liability if you need using that, better just to let go and upgrade. upgrade may cost you a bit upfront but then you will have peace.
agreed, so I traded in for a younger model

I've done this for years with high amp loads (vacuums and other hand tools) and never had a problem. Unfortunately these chargers have fold down prongs and they won't fold if you bend too much.

I've had better durability with JSAUX cables than even Anker Powerline (years before the Anker Eufy controversy). Just bought 4 A to C cables as stocking stuffers as I was used to family members wearing out the Anker Powerline cables every year. So they are just in a drawer as all of last years cables are perfectly fine.

JSAUX usb-c to usb-c cable 60w [2-pack 6.6ft] is $9.99 plus a 20% off coupon.
https://www.amazon.com/JSAUX-Char...B07DQM7WH5
They also have 100w versions if you want to go bigger.
Anker cables are failing, their warranty is good for a year. My Anker USB cables failed to work after an year - USC c

I'm not going to buy any Anker cable for premium price anymore

This charger only supports 20W on each port, so it's not great for anything bigger than a phone. Pass.

Yikes! Huge non-GaN brick of only 40W. For that price you can get 65W GaN Aukey or RAVpower

I have owned this for about 2 weeks. Got it right before Christmas because I was traveling and wanted a single charging that would keep my iPhone14 ProMax & iPad Mini 6 charged without taking several hours to plug in. Does exactly what you expect it to.. and I can fully charge both devices at the same time in about an hour.

It's a max of 20W per port. So it's the exact equivalent of carrying around two OEM Apple 20W USB-C chargers and using two outlets.. to charge these two devices. I also have an Apple Watch and M1 Macbook Air which both came with USB-C charging cables.. so it's great to be able to charge two of my Apple devices at the same time.. then charge the other two at the same time. I do not believe this charger supports PPS.. so it's probably the best fit for Apple users.

That said I like this charger so much.. at $19 good chance, I'll scoop up another one to leave permanently in the bathroom or my backpack.

Does this anker product perform facial recognition without your permission and allow anyone to view your camera feed?

No, it's just a charger? Made by the same company that cares so little about your privacy. Hard pass. I don't reward companies with my business if they violate fundamental privacy laws and their own marketing promises of privacy.

Newegg. Looks like it's out of stock now but that's the one I got. Great and small.

The outlets are fine. I already replaced 90% of them in my house as they were ~65 years old. What I have is a good quality charger...it's just big, heavy, and poorly designed. LMAO
This thing is cheap and reliable and it never falls out. I don't even know how many of them I have at this point, i just set them up everywhere.
