Bank of America is almost as bad as Wells Fargo making extra accounts with customers' information.
BOA would hold check deposits until balance goes into negative to charge $50 overdraft fees.
It was a while back but it goes to show how they're trying to screw you over.

Any proof of that? I've seen plenty of WF articles about that, but I've never seen anything related to BoA.

There were lots of lots of news online from credible news outlets. It's very difficult to find now for some reason. I guess they've done some damage control and most likely paid off Google to hide them. Banks can do anything.
I was able to dig up some blogs with BoA customers about it.
I hate these guys. They set up a banking system that robs customers' money by delaying deposited check, reprocessing CC payments, processing charges after the balance hits where it cannot cover the charge etc. It's absolutely criminal what they are doing.
Read up on the blog with white collar 9 to 5ers talking about how BoA f-ed them over.
FYI it wasn't obvious to me just by looking at the dates listed, but they're all Saturdays and Sundays. Kinda nice that it's on the weekend when most people may be able to take advantage.
Also, some museums say Saturdays only or Sundays only.
