Best price I've seen so far, that said I think this is still closer to "normal" than sale in a few months. If you don't need the newest monster today I'd hold out or if you can live with bad mo fo but slightly restrained it's not like the 899 didn't hit hard. I bought mine w battery under 200 a couple holiday seasons ago so I'd assume being supplanted by this even with inflation it will be near that low.

Finally went under 250 without the battery so I could justify the purchase. Good deal, maybe next year it will be cheaper when a new model comes out, but I bet this will be the cheapest of the year.

This is the one to get, the snap ring version. They have an "anvil" version, looks like a unicorn horn where socket attaches. But in tests, they broke before the snap ring version. One powerful tool.

This is the new model, this came out in 2022 replacing the DCF899.
