This ^. It's a game that gets great reviews and I hear a lot of people want to like but it's sooooo boring. It's the most unexciting game I've ever played. I put in 10-15 hours and just can't do it.
Yeah. This game is beyond boring. The second one is so much better. The fights basically play themselves in the first game. It's just such a drag. I actually played the second one first and then went back, because everyone said it was better. I put over 30 hours into it, just trying to force myself to beat it, but I finally bailed and have never gone back to it.

I played this the first time on PS3 and ended up rage quitting after being killed by the last boss. Years later, I tried it again on PC--remembering what I'd learned--and really enjoyed my time with it.
I also tried the sequel, and could not finish it. It's a good game, but lacks the charm of the original and eventually, I just lost interest. This game is truly special, a must-play for any fan of JRPGS.
This is another game that you buy once in digital and can play side by side with a child on 2 switches. My daughter watches me to know where to go and plays on her switch while I play next to her on my switch or on the tv. I wait so we experience the whole game at the same time together. It's such a great experience to play with your kid and only needing one copy of the game. Most games I know both me and my kids will enjoy playing I buy on the switch because of it.
