Very likely and happened to me a lot, especially if it sold and shipped by Amazon. It's like Amazon is an outlet channel to clear near-expiration products.

Well, if you hold onto any nut- or vegetable-based product (e.g., peanut butter cheese crackers), they may go rancid. Whatever nut or vegetable oils they use to bind these can go bad, so YMMV. My estimate is typically by or within 6 months of the exp date.

I never thought so until I tried eating a NEKOT peanut butter cracker/cookie one time from my office drawer. Learned my lesson.

FYI, if anyone has a Sams Club membership, these are pretty good also.
