Mucinex D CVS Sold in store only 18 count $16.99; 36 count $25.99 36 count is good deal, made even better with coupons/apps below.

https://www.cvs.com/shop/mucinex-...id-1011469

This is only sold at the pharmacy and you need you submit your driver's license for purchase.

For those who need it and when a generic won't do.

Note there is presently a $2 coupon at Coupons.com.
https://www.coupons.com/coupons/h...upons-104/

If you have Ibot**, you may also have a $2 reimbursement for this purchase too. Check your CVS receipts to see if you have any money off coupons too (I had a $2 off $12 for example).

Site says that in store price may vary, but I believe this is the price in store too. Call to see if your CVS pharmacy has in stock as site/app disclosure of in store availability is not always accurate.

I stumbled on this late yesterday afternoon just before pharmacy closed when son needed it and was able to get 36 count for $21.99 after my CVS coupon (YMMV) and Mucinex coupon from c.com noted above. then submitted for $2 IB rebate (YMMV). Net $20 for 36 count. Even without CVS coupon, it still would have been a good deal for $22.

Thought it was too late to post yesterday, but checked again and the website still has the same sales price listed.

It's an ok deal if you absolutely need it right away from CVS. My normal go-to is similar but superior in almost every way i(note ANYONE can visit a SamsClub pharmacy even without a membership).

The SamsClub brand 1200mg extended relief Guaifenesin tabs for $<15 for 56 tabs. Double the active ingredient in this deal above and 50% more pills for less money.

PLUS you add a couple boxes of the Sams Club brand Pseudoephedrine 30mg tabs from the pharmacy to add the "D" to your regimen. Max you can buy is 2 per date period. They are only $2.50 for a box.

So for under $20 you get a solid 56 day of you take once a day (or 26 day if you use it everyday 2X a day) regimen. This will get your through a few cold/flu illnesses. A little more leg work but stock up and you'll be ready for your next cold/flu episode for half the price listed above! Hope this helps someone save some bucks!

Thanks. All good points. I would prefer to stay off name brand as it is cheaper like you said and would have looked at Costco or BJ's (I do not belong to Sams) as i do for some of the allergy medications my family uses. Unfortunately, the generic version is not strong enough for my son or wife. That is why I noted it is for those who need it when a generic is not good enough. I think it the Pseudoephedrine that is different. So I had to get Mucinex D and while CVS is often more expensive, it had the best price in this instance. Anyway, we may be the only ones who had to have the name brand, but I thought I would post it in case there were others.

Not the same actually. Pseudoephedrine is the only thing that works for me but the normal red pills give me the jitters as they are a fast acting 4 hour pill. The Mucinex D is 12 hour so it hits you slower.
