Don't trust brickseek. It show out of stock for me too but I can clearly say they have them at my store.

Unfortunately not, at least in my experience. It has been hit or miss with me. I have had an item in my cart, but their system said zero in stock. On rare occasions, the system was spot on.

I was able to find the last one at this store in Johns Creek, Georgia. Almost missed it because it was in a separate stack of equipment for "On Sale" items. Been looking for a while for a great deal on a 5.0 Ah battery (and a blower). Thx!

I picked up 1 today they had 2 in stock. I been wanting to get the edger but I couldn't justify the prices of the batteries since the edger doesn't come with 1.

Confirmed. I went into the Lincoln, NE store after seeing this deal. The display was the only unit left, so I asked the employee about buying it and it was an easy "yes". They had trouble finding the "box" stuff (manual, charger, batteries) but were able to find the charger, lucky me they couldn't find the battery so they gave me a brand new one in package. Also saved 5% using my Lowe's card. Great find!

Question - I was able to snag one, and the battery date says January 2022 - so 1 year old.

Is that a problem? As in, would that lead to it dying early?

Just debating if I'm going to keep it or not as my main goal was to get a new battery for cheap - the upgrade on the blower is kinda minor.
