"A surge protector can restrict, or "clamp," voltage across the three legs between these components: L-N, L-G, and N-G. This model offers 330 volts (V) of clamping across the main line-neutral leg, the most critical place to block surges. It has 400V clamping across the two grounded legs. While protection remains active, the APC model bathes the word "protected" in green light. When the MOVs eventually fail, the light will go out and power will stop flowing to the AC outlets. (Oddly, these clamping voltages can't be found in the manual or product page, but are "printed" in black-on-black tiny molded type on the unit's underside.)"

Warning… The edge lights up in green… Very bright green… I had to cover up the edge of mine with black electrical tape because the room was so brightly lit up.

Look through the Amazon reviews searching for the words "bright", "light", or "green"… Might not bother you, but you should be aware…
Nope, this was covered in the last thread. It's 330. Molded right into the plastic
Bought 2 last time. Can confirm that clamping voltage is 330, 400, 400.

Sorry, again, not an EE and not even remotely capable of figuring this out for myself. I just want to know what to put between the wall & UPS. It's not that complicated a question and not an opportunity for some Zen experience. It's just household power.

Im not sure if anyone has found a good substitute but i found a belkin thats pretty close at the same price https://www.walmart.com/ip/Belkin...k/13073637

it has 800 less joules unfortunately but the clamping voltage is the same atleast, which seems to be rare at 330v

EDIT:nvm, its only at 400v on te first leg. false advertisement, pissed i didnt jump on this one
