Yeah sounds like a disaster. I was so tempted to go for it but they put so much sugar in them I wouldn't be able to stop eating them till they are all gone and my blood sugar through the roof not to mention the heavy metals adding to this.

type chocolate lead or chocolate consumer reports and you will see lots of results. Consumer Reports and not the FDA discovered that lots of chocolate brands has high levels of heavy metals such as cadmium and lead which can damage kidneys and brain. It is higher in the darker chocolates since that is the culprit, not the milk and sugar. It happens naturally in the cocoa bean or process from what I read.

Palm oil, most check ingredients, don't hurt yourself or loved ones.

palm oil is linked to cancer, catalyst to existing cancers, heart disease, high cholesterol, gut/intestinal distress, highest oil available for saturated fat, and is known to trigger allergies and intolerance as it's incredibly hard to digest. Companies include it because it's cheap, but it's also the worst oil available for health, and is banned in many countries.

When I wrote them, Lindt, they wrote that they are aware of the study (studies) concluding that palm oil has links to cancer; Lindt vaguely wrote that other oils can do the same.

I ordered about 500 truffles a few weeks back for about $70 after the Amex and cb site. More than I will ever need.
