On the fence because of nicer/wire free clutter, but given that AP2 has been sold as low as $79.99…tough to make sense of this

From what I can see, Apple doesn't even sell the AP2s with the wireless case anymore. You have to first buy the AP2s with the wired case, then buy the wireless case separate. They used to sell them with either case option but now it doesn't look like they do.

I picked mine up when you could still buy directly with the wireless case. Sucks that Apple removed that direct option.

This is a good deal for those who are looking for wireless charging of the case and already have a set of APs to go in it.
