Didnt really think about that, I have dicks locally to me. Plus after doing a bit of research, it seems that the sale price at dicks, is the pretty standard price those machines go on sale for, so not really a "deal"
I'm seeing many FB Marketplace listings for brand new treadmill. Seems fishy. I think seller purchased damaged box and try to offload as new undamaged.
I purchased a Nordictrack commercial 2450 treadmill in 2015 and I can honestly say it has been the worst purchase I've ever made.
Spent well over $2000 on it and it's been a nightmare. It's probably been operational roughly 25% of the time I've owned it. The touchscreen is garbage. The buttons are unresponsive and don't take an input most of the time. The control board went bad. The motor driver board went bad. The software is buggy and incredibly sluggish. The incline mechanism jams and sticks in the highest incline setting requiring partial disassembly to free it. The incline calibration regularly fails.
When it was new, NordicTrack sent me a few parts, but when the warranty expired, they wouldn't stand behind the product. The whole thing seems like a lemon to me, but they were not interested in taking it back. They humored me with a few parts until the warranty expired. I will never give them another dollar as long as I live.

What if you have children and you can only run at night or early morning?
What if it's winter out and below freezing and gets dark at 4:00 p.m or you don't get off work until after 5:00.
It's amazing the use cases one can come up with
