Initial impressions of the LG refrigerator:
1. Build quality appears to be good. Some of the other brands I looked at had spray foam insulation residue near the seams.
2. The internal water dispenser works well and doesn't require two hands to push a separate button like I saw on other brands. However, the dispenser has a higher water pressure and dispenses quickly (at first I thought the filter was somehow bypassing due to the fast flow). It's fairly noisy when dispensing water compared to my (now retired) 21 year old GE.
We'll see how the refrigerator does over time. Perhaps the compressor issue has been resolved and it will last 21 years like my old refrigerator!

The delivery guys were not able to hook up the water line. Do we get some refund if they did not connect the waterline ?
