Hold the line still? I haven't seen any recent posts for graphics cards lately. Seems like prices are close to as low as they will go for most current / previous gen cards
Hold the line from Newegg tbh.

They suck and are hard asses if you needed a refund for some reason.

Was only place i shopped but Stopped buying from them yrs ago for that.

Me too. Well, for the first time again in years (15+). Just building a cheaper PC build to handle VR. The price is good for a mid-level card. Normally, I'm an Nvidia guy but the prices and availability have been obscene ever since Covid hit.

Is it possible to get away with this card running on a 500W PSU w/o an undervolt?
I agree with BradFang, depends on what processor and other components you're running. If you have Ryzen 5 3600 or 5600 or something even lighter on power, I would *guess* you can get away with a 500W PSU, but transient spikes could crash it.
Regardless, I just bought a different 6700 XT and I'm planning to slightly undervolt it. Most undervolting guides I've seen demonstrate achieving the same performance or sometimes better at a bit lower power draw, or save ~30% of the power for a tiny performance hit.
I'm running a 550W Gold PSU, I'll try to reply back here if I run into any issues when my Hellhound comes in on Saturday. I plan to benchmark at stock and then play with undervolting.
Let me know if you want any links.

Newegg says this card is non-refundable. Does anyone have experience with newegg on this? If it ends up not being compatible for any reason, you're truly just stuck holding it?
If its DOA they will exchange it. There is no reason for it to be incompatible unless you have no idea what you are doing. Like to small of power supply or card won't fit in your case. People need to get real and stop expecting to be able to return everything if the fault lies on their end.

I run an Asus 6700xt on a 550 (xfx xtr). Can't remember the exact numbers but the highest power from the wall was 60 watts higher wo undervolt vs with. Maybe 380 watts during a bench.

I would avoid Newegg like the plague. Their customer service and returns are some of the worst. A friend of mine bought a high dollar part from them and received an empty box. They refused to help him. Even though though the box they sent him was physically to small to hold the part and the shipping weight was less than the actual weight of the item. He had to file a claim with his credit card company to get his money back.

Tempting, I got the Red Devil version from amazon "renewed" for $315 - probably safer to get new for the price delta, although I do really like the Red Devil.

Bought the MSI mec 6750 xt directly from MSI last month for $389.99 to avoid Newegg although it's back up to $509. First AMD GPU and can't be happier. Hitting 165 frames using FSR (1.0) quality on MW2 at 1440p with everything maxed and can't see any uo scaling artifacts. These mid tier AMD cards are perfect for 1440p gaming on current titles. No regrets.

Can confirm, XE does sound slower than XT. In my experience adding LED and installing it in a case with a glass panel will make it sound faster.

On plus side, it comes with HDMI.

Good luck.

It's an error in the title of this SD thread. Click on the NewEgg link. It's an XT.

6700xt cards have been $350-$370 for the past 2 months. Doesn't seem like they're likely to drop further until the 40xx/7xxx lineups extend down to the lower end, and neither company seems in any hurry to do that.
Exactly. 6750xt was $380 but it's an overpriced 6700xt.
