That's a really good deal for this device OP. Were you able to confirm the order went through successfully?

I agree. I have the Pro 9 I5 8GB sitting in my Cart but don't really need it atm. Debating if I should snag it. 🤔

The 20% coupon needs to be selected during checkout. I added a screenshot for reference.

Strange of Microsoft to do that.

I researched on this and apparently, the warranty doesn't auto apply. Microsoft requires an extra step of submitting the dated proof of purchase. Info is from the support site.

https://support.microsoft.com/en-...c54b5429df

I checked some Reddit posts and it looks like Microsoft does honor the warranty as long as it is registered properly. The link above mentions:

"In order to update your warranty, you will need to provide a valid sales/purchase receipt from an authorized retailer. If your retailer isn't on this list, don't worry, you can send it to us anyway and we will validate it if it meets the following criteria.

A valid sales/purchase receipt will clearly indicate the retailer name, the purchase date, and the item purchased as shown in the example below (in English only). If the sales/purchase receipt does not clearly indicate these requirements, it will not be accepted."

Yeah the keyboard is separate. Would've been awesome if it did @ $712 😆

Well, it was me that posted it. Microsoft would not extend the warranty on a factory sealed Surface Duo that I bought from Buydig through eBay. They said eBay wasn't an authorized retailer. I explained to them that Buydig was an authorized Microsoft reseller, and that eBay was just a portal. I even contacted Buydig and got a "non-eBay" invoice from them and submitted that to Microsoft. That wasn't good enough. So I asked the Microsoft rep that if I bought something from the Microsoft store on eBay, would eBay be the seller, they ignored me and would not provide a response for that question. What it all boils down to is that if you get something off eBay, you get whatever warranty is left. With the Surface Duo, I got roughly 8 months of warranty.

Crazy! Sorry to hear that. That is some crappy CS.

Check out that support link. Might be useful for future purchases. It mentions how to determine remaining warranty and other stuff I haven't read yet but a really good read.

Hope we don't run across issues needing warranty then 🤙

Can somebody knowledgeable here remind me please, which one was the big step forward, 10th to 11th gen Intel or 11th to 12th gen? I sort of remember that 11th to 12th gen was a big step forward. That's when Intel caught up with AMD. Do I recall that correctly? Thanks!

Based off this article, it looks like it's the Pro 9.

But in real world normal day to day use, I think the 16gb RAM is more important. Imo only.
