They are not the same. The BHG containers sold at Walmart are manufactured in Taiwan; I believe by the same manufacturer that makes the highly rated Felli flip tite containers. The Sam's club containers are manufactured in China. I can tell you for certain the plastic is thinner on the Sam's club containers. I'm not sure the quality of the mechanisms between the two, but I prefer Taiwan manufactured products over Chinese manufactured products generally.
Decided to compare the 2 sets myself based on info available online:

BHG brand size:
2 of 4.5-cup small square container, 4 of 7.5-cup medium square container, 2 of 16-cup large square container and 8 lids

Total volume: 50.5 cups

Sam's Club size:
Capacity/Dimensions (Rectangular):
2.9 cups (700ml)/ 6.3" X 4.3" X 2.9"
7.1 cups (1700ml)/ 6.3" X 4.3" X 5.7"
11.3 cup (2700ml)/ 6.3" X 4.3" X 8.6"
15 cup (3600ml)/ 6.3" X 4.3" X 11.4"
Capacity/ Dimensions (Square):
1.9 cup (450ml)/ 4.3" X 4.3" X 2.9"
4.65 cup (1100ml)/ 4.3" X 4.3" X 5.74"
7.1 cup (1700ml)/4.3" X 4.3" X 8.6"
9.6 cup (2300ml)/ 4.3" X 4.3" X 11.4"

Total volume 59.55 cups

Sam's Club set has 18% more volume. But it is 33% more expensive even when it is on sale. So this set is better value, quality being same or better.

Some people may prefer having more varied sizes in Sam's Club set for storing different things. I'm wary of the lever in BHG set that seals or opens the lid. It 'appears' flimsier than the one in Sam's Club set and given it is thinner and smaller, there is a possibility of it breaking, making the whole box useless. I've never used Sam's Club warranty for Member's Mark products after long time has passed. But I'm guessing they'd let me replace the broken one. Jaws8241 replied to my original comment that BHG set is manufactured in Taiwan whereas Sam's Club one is made in China. That could be an important factor for buyers.

Hope it helps.

Bad reviews seem to be from damaged ones. Ordered extras for free shipping, and can return anything that shows up broken. Mostly likely going to have to drive out to Walmart, but at least it looks like there's 90 days for returns.

I bought a set during black Friday, love it and ordered 2 set. The plastic is thick but easy to break if dropped, handle with care and should last for a long time.

the description says that they are ideal for storing dry foods, but can you also store wet food in them? like pasta sauces and soups?

Got them couple of years back and they were a set of 10 that time. Still going strong. Just don't try to grab them by the lids. 😄

I've been using these for YEARS. They are great (just don't drop them). I recently purchased 2 sets at $30 to finish outfitting the pantry and thought it was a good deal. $15 is a no brainer.
