There's a lot to do in game right now though without it having any microtransactions right now. I got the Ultimate Edition last year during the week of a Black Friday sale on Nintendo's site [nintendo.com] for a little more than current price on their site. My birthday is in Nov. so I thought why not. As of right now the Ultimate Edition is a dollar less than the Deluxe. I'm happy with the cosmetic type items I got getting the version I did like clothes, furniture, a fox as a companion pet. The Ultimate Edition gives players everything from the lower two versions plus additional stuff and 18,000 moonstones which will be the in game currency.

Who knows what it might take to get some of that stuff when it comes out of early access though. I didn't know about Gameloft's history before purchasing though.
