Doesn't look like it's got many buttons? Logitech 604 has so many.

Yeah, because thats the most important metric for what mouse you should buy /s.
It has your standard layout, plus two side buttons, two top buttons, and a forward "clutch" paddle.
A solid layout for someone who dosent want buttons they will never use.

Great mouse - that said the battery life if you have the LED's on and at max is really bad. I mean it makes sense why but imo if you're buying a mouse with LED's you want the battery life to last all day.

I'm using it now and not experiencing any trouble with battery life lasting a workday - I dock it overnight and it works great. I have the LEDs at 100%, but it's not static - it's dynamic based on keystrokes and clicks.

I just got this a few weeks back. Solid mouse so far. Really like it. One exception is the battery life. I haven't used a wireless mouse for a while as a daily driver but man does this thing need to be recharged often. I'm not at every day or anything but certainly every 3-4 days. My last Logitech from several years back needed to be recharged once every few months.

Now ... this does have LED's (which I run at 50%) and maybe I'm just a little out of touch with expectations these days but I'm a little disappointed that I have yet another device that I need to constantly keep charged. Over time it won't be a big deal as I will remember to dock it daily but right now I forget and then deal with battery anxiety.

All in all a solid mouse. Just be aware of the battery situation.

I use mine for ~11 hours a day working from home and I get about 4-5 days with LEDs on max. Some days where it dips low I can charge it from 5%-45% in about 30 minutes. Might want to check yours because that sounds wrong.
The GF has the non hyperspeed version that uses a AA, she gets about 500hrs of use on one eneloop.

Yeah that's not right, but a good data point for quality control.

It seems like the Viper Ultimate, which is $10 less (https://www.bestbuy.com/site/raze...Id=6384930), is better for FPS gaming, while the Basilisk Ultimate is better for work. https://www.rtings.com/mouse/tool.../1639/1696

i've had this mouse for a little over 6 months and these are my thoughts.
  1. The dock+dongle cannot be plugged into a USB Switcher unless its powered externally.
  2. The included micro-USB cable is the only cable that fits into the mouse since its keyed with a groove on the sides. Otherwise you have to jam a third-party cable in there and then use ridiculous force to get it out.
  3. The software has been a pleasant experience for me. I set the dock to show me the mouse's charge level.
  4. The dock's magnets don't help me at all in finding the right place to attach the mouse. I have to fiddle around with it and even after all this time it still takes me a few tries.
  5. Tracking has been wonderful -
  6. Mouse isn't too light or too heavy and even after hours of use my hand doesn't hurt.
  7. Coming from a wired G502, this mouse checked all the boxes for me. It's been good for productivity and gaming.
At this price I would definitely buy it again but if it was closer to the G502 I'd probably go with that since the PowerPlay Mat seems like a better charging solution.

who said anything about it being the "most important metric"? the amount of buttons may not be important to you but to others it certainly is lmao
