As far as comparable sizing, I have a pair of crocs sandals (not clogs) in women's 8 that fits me and I found the women's 7 for these adidas are best. Normally, I wear 7.5 or 8 in shoes.

Well I think it's pretty obvious you'd get the next closer size up. You don't buy a size too small or they wouldn't fit you very well would they? 🤪 You buy the next half size up from what you generally wear. They are slip on. They aren't meant to fit like a glove.
I'm an OG dad lol. I wouldn't wear crocs (or these) anywhere other than to walk my dogs in the yard. They are comfy but, I tried wearing my crocs to the store and felt like a lazy clown clogging around 😂. Seriously though 😳 Only crocs I'll wear anywhere are the laced shoe version (which are great and versatile/ durable highly recommend)

I too only wear them to run out to the shed or take garbage out. The toe box on these are ridiculously wide and do look like clown shoes when you look down at them. And they're not comfortable. I might try putting them in the dryer for a bit and remold them...
Just bought a white elsewhere for $20 ugh! They're comfy!
