That was for the older version. This is for the 2.0 and at this sale price and what's been upgraded - it's priced well.

If you're on a budget the Hart could get the job done for DIY work. Check them out for features, larger wheels, overall structure etc and you'll find the Ridgid at a few bucks more to be at a different quality level that's competitive with the other PRO box systems. Ridgid just needs to introduce a few more options like a drawer system and things will be golden for them.

I just went and looked at this… the handle doesn't go all the way down and sticks out about a foot from the top of the bin. I passed.

This new version with the removable handle is great. Now Milwaukee is the only major brand on the market that wont fit under a tonneau cover.

Got my set the other day with a medium and small box (Separate btw which is a bummer). Nice box and HD was kind enough to send me an extra large one for free with the wheels. It made my day. Cool thing is you can remove the wheels too

This is very tempting. I have the 1.0 system and the handle on my box is screwed up. I was wheeling it into work loaded up and lost my grip and it fell over with the other boxes on it. Bent the part of the handle where it telescopes, so now its a major pain to expand and contract

The 2.0 is junk, the boxes aren't as dense of a material as the OG boxes, they are super flimsy now.

The good thing is that the new 2.0 system is backward compatible so you only need to replace the wheel box.

I wonder if your damaged box is covered under warranty? Perhaps reach out to Ridgid.

It's a simple mod on the Packouts to make the handle removeable, just pull the screws and replace with pins - or buy one of the ready made kits to do so.

Funny, I was just in home depot comparing rigid, ryobi, Milwaukee and Dewalt boxes. I almost bought this but this has 50% weight capacity of the other boxes. This box is rated at only 100lbs. Other boxes are 200-250lbs.

I didnt realize the handle didnt go all the way down. Kills the deal for me personally. After looking some more, i found the stanley 033026R model. Same size, rated for 200 lbs. $60. Im going to cancel and give that a shot. It telescopes out the end though so not a modular system like this.
