Deal Details
Tesla has dropped the base price of the Tesla Model Y from $65,990 down to $52,990. This price reduction means the Model Y now qualifies for the $7,500 Federal Tax Credit (details here).

Thanks to Community Member MurraytheDemonSkull for finding this deal.

Additionally, the base prices of all Tesla vehicles have been reduced. The base Model 3 is now $43,990, which is $3,000 lower than before. The Model 3 Performance is now $53,990, which is $9,000 lower than before, and now qualifies for the tax credit.

Editor's Notes

Written by RazorConcepts
  • This is $13,000 lower (19% savings) than the previous base price.
  • Factoring in the tax credit, the price of the Model Y today is $20,000 less than one purchased in December 2022.
  • To qualify for the federal tax credit, one must not exceed the following adjusted gross income limits:
    • $300,000 for married couples filing jointly
    • $225,000 for heads of households
    • $150,000 for all other filers
  • The tax credit is not refundable, which means one must have federal tax due to take advantage of it. If the tax due is less than the credit amount, one can only claim the credit up to the amount of the tax due.
  • Refer to the forum thread for additional deal discussion.

Sorry for your stock losses. You'll eventually learn son.

BTW my prediction was correct...so is it laughable even if I'm correct? some people simply don't like to accept reality and they're ruining their financial lives. good luck please seek help if you need it. stock market is very similar to gambling addiction.
LOL, how can anyone have lost money on TSLA? You bought AFTER the 1100% run-up and then sold after the crash?! I sold after the run-up, because nothing gains 1100% without a sharp pullback afterwards, and started DCAing back in a month ago.

Please, enlighten me as to how your prediction was correct when they had a YoY unit sales growth of ~30% in the last quarter on top of the sales dollars of each unit being up by another ~30%.

Because some people are hater of telsa and some people are telsa lover.
This doesn't explain why! There are often both lover and haters, but not like this!
Haters have taken this personal.

This has been happening for many years. Look at all the Tesla threads in the past. Every single one of them.

You must understand how much money is at stake. Oil industry, car salesmen, mechanics, and political extremists on both sides hate Tesla and the whole concept of EV.

If you're not one of those people, this is the best car deal right now
Noob here What's the point of getting a Tesla if it's NOT FSD?

I thought that was the whole point.

Loudest person in the room. Ill let time teach you a lesson. šŸ˜† it's down 70% this year so yes you loss everything from the top if you didn't sell the massive bubble.

Do you folks ever worry about natural disasters with these things? I mean, if there's an evacuation ordered, people can barely get out now with fueling taking one or two minutes per car. You're not going anywhere if it takes an hour to charge. Also, gas can be trucked in, an electric grid only has so much capacity.
Getting fuel probably the least of your worries in this scenario. If youre the kind of person that thinks something like this will really happen, youre probably living off the grid anyway. I would guess its gonna be easier to get electricity than gas when everyone is in a panic and hoarding.

No one is arguing that self-driving is difficult. It is an EXTREMELY difficult problem to solve.

The PROBLEM I and others are trying to highlight is Tesla's BS marketing and Elon's blatantly false statements. If your FSD is in Beta, stop charging people for it while promising year after year that FSD is very close to fruition.

This excuse that Elon gets too excited and is naive is ridiculous. Anyone else would have been classified as a charlatan (see Trevor Milton, Elizabeth Holmes) but no, Elon is just easily excitable and naive so we shouldn't call out his BS for what it is, BS. Ridiculous. laugh out loud
Comparing FSD to two products that were actually fake is pretty disingenuous. Nikola and Theranos never even took the first step towards being able to do the things they claimed. FSD is 90% functional, we just have absolutely no idea how long it will take to nail down that last 10%. It will happen, though.

Ok but you'll have to stop and charge at some point, let's assume 350 miles range, you're not even getting out of Florida on that.
Those 350 miles will get you to safety, even if they don't get you to your destination. And 350 miles away from the place being evacuated, the wait for charging wouldn't be unreasonably long—assuming you have a Tesla, since they have the only charging infrastructure that is even close to keeping up with the growth of EV adoption (and reliably actually functional).

Pretty obvious with all the coping and seething going on here that many of these chumps got rekt when TSLA was mooning and didnt have the balls or the resources to ride it out and profit from the 70% crash... which just made them more angry. Probably think life cheated them somehow.

Legit i think being fully solar powered with a telsa would be better in this scenario no?

Or at least you can rig a portable generator on the back of the tesla and use it to generate electricity lol.
