Deal Details
Tesla has dropped the base price of the Tesla Model Y from $65,990 down to $52,990. This price reduction means the Model Y now qualifies for the $7,500 Federal Tax Credit (details here).

Thanks to Community Member MurraytheDemonSkull for finding this deal.

Additionally, the base prices of all Tesla vehicles have been reduced. The base Model 3 is now $43,990, which is $3,000 lower than before. The Model 3 Performance is now $53,990, which is $9,000 lower than before, and now qualifies for the tax credit.

Editor's Notes

Written by RazorConcepts
  • This is $13,000 lower (19% savings) than the previous base price.
  • Factoring in the tax credit, the price of the Model Y today is $20,000 less than one purchased in December 2022.
  • To qualify for the federal tax credit, one must not exceed the following adjusted gross income limits:
    • $300,000 for married couples filing jointly
    • $225,000 for heads of households
    • $150,000 for all other filers
  • The tax credit is not refundable, which means one must have federal tax due to take advantage of it. If the tax due is less than the credit amount, one can only claim the credit up to the amount of the tax due.
  • Refer to the forum thread for additional deal discussion.

let say if you order the model Y/3 which doesn't come with ultrasonic parking sensors, are there any aftermarket ones available as options because it's so embarrassing to see wheels shingles on a smart car like a tesla.
people have been parking without sensors for ages.. just adjust the mirror

Got a 5.34% with an 850 Fico. Creditor is Wells Fargo. I ordered the base Model 3. As much as I wanted the Performance version, I resisted the urge and stuck with the RWD Model 3. I will be refinancing with a credit union at a lower late soon.

I had been shopping for the past few months to replace my aging Saab 9-5 (17 years). I had my heart set on Chevy Bolt but no one had it at MSRP so I just gave up. Model 3 fits the bill for my purpose and driving habits.
Victorville, CA Chevy dealer has them at MSRP: https://electric.vvchevy.com/shop...ry/vehicle

How can we get the FSD for free
Sorry, only for employees. And limited to one redemption only! (i.e you can't avail free FSD for more than one car). At the end of last year, with the $7,500 credit, they were giving it away to friends and family for free! But that incentive is no longer available.

I applied with PenFed, Capital One, and Chase. They came back with 6.85% to 7% for 72 months. Tesla financing from Wells Fargo came back with 5.34% for 72 months which is a deal.

Anyone having success getting dealerships to reduce price on stock vehicles so that they are under $55K? For instance I see several MYLR with paint and rim upgrades for $55990. Also several base MYP for $56990.

I can assure you still get rashes on the wheels even with USS. It's about how wide they are outside the body. USS won't do a thing - source, me, with USS MYP and curb rash.
