Deal Details
Tesla has dropped the base price of the Tesla Model Y from $65,990 down to $52,990. This price reduction means the Model Y now qualifies for the $7,500 Federal Tax Credit (details here).

Thanks to Community Member MurraytheDemonSkull for finding this deal.

Additionally, the base prices of all Tesla vehicles have been reduced. The base Model 3 is now $43,990, which is $3,000 lower than before. The Model 3 Performance is now $53,990, which is $9,000 lower than before, and now qualifies for the tax credit.

Editor's Notes

Written by RazorConcepts
  • This is $13,000 lower (19% savings) than the previous base price.
  • Factoring in the tax credit, the price of the Model Y today is $20,000 less than one purchased in December 2022.
  • To qualify for the federal tax credit, one must not exceed the following adjusted gross income limits:
    • $300,000 for married couples filing jointly
    • $225,000 for heads of households
    • $150,000 for all other filers
  • The tax credit is not refundable, which means one must have federal tax due to take advantage of it. If the tax due is less than the credit amount, one can only claim the credit up to the amount of the tax due.
  • Refer to the forum thread for additional deal discussion.

Ordered MY LR basic with no other options on 01/14 at 3 PM CST, Est delivery date is 01/28 to 02/11. No VIN assigned yet. Location: TX. I am guessing they may push the est date again.

Ordered a Model 3 RWD in blue on 1/24 evening (transaction date 1/25...); vin assigned on 1/28; estimated delivery 1/29-2/5.

How accurate is the delivery dates? I haven't seen my trade in offer yet; haven't applied for financing either.

Typical stuff, takings advantage of low income ill-informed people. Sad but that's reality. I've already seen a lot of reddit posts about how people didn't even realize it has no parking sensors and theyre ticked off or severely disappointed. I've had parking sensors on my car since early 2000s. Do I need it? No. But why would I not want the best tech in my car on all aspects?

Haha. Hilarious to see some of the scrubs on this thread.
in all honesty... i despise 100% of the safety/lazy "tech" in my current Outback, if i could've gotten something as useful without it, for a similar price... i would've.
parking sensors, lane shift sensors, collision sensor and auto braking, auto high beams, responsive headlights, cloud/subscription remote start and god... that stupid powered ebrake in everything now, just give me a handle so i can slide my car!

anywho... who brags about having parking sensors???

My friend in Texas had a delivery date of February 8th, now it has been pushed back to the middle of March. Delivery dates are certainly fluid.

He has to drive 150 miles to pick up the vehicle.

I wonder will mine get pushed back, as I do not have time to take delivery next week at all; earliest would be 2/11-2/12 weekend.

I guess the factor that vehicle might get delivery soon is that I'm only ~1.5 hours away from Fremont factory; a little less than 100 miles actually.
