Deal Details
Tesla has dropped the base price of the Tesla Model Y from $65,990 down to $52,990. This price reduction means the Model Y now qualifies for the $7,500 Federal Tax Credit (details here).

Thanks to Community Member MurraytheDemonSkull for finding this deal.

Additionally, the base prices of all Tesla vehicles have been reduced. The base Model 3 is now $43,990, which is $3,000 lower than before. The Model 3 Performance is now $53,990, which is $9,000 lower than before, and now qualifies for the tax credit.

Editor's Notes

Written by RazorConcepts
  • This is $13,000 lower (19% savings) than the previous base price.
  • Factoring in the tax credit, the price of the Model Y today is $20,000 less than one purchased in December 2022.
  • To qualify for the federal tax credit, one must not exceed the following adjusted gross income limits:
    • $300,000 for married couples filing jointly
    • $225,000 for heads of households
    • $150,000 for all other filers
  • The tax credit is not refundable, which means one must have federal tax due to take advantage of it. If the tax due is less than the credit amount, one can only claim the credit up to the amount of the tax due.
  • Refer to the forum thread for additional deal discussion.

A YouTuber I watch said that sales associates are telling customers that they have heard internally that the federal tax credit will be good until at least March 31. Take that with a grain of salt.

For states that require front license plates, are there any good mounting options? Does Tesla install a front bracket for the license plate
This what I have if you are registered in California

When I received the VIN for a MY Perf, the mileage was listed at 15 miles.
What mileage is everyone else seeing as they are picking up their vehicle?

The mileage on the paperwork is standard "less than 15 miles". That's just templated on all of their contracts. Mine had 5 miles. People on other forums have mentioned anywhere between 4-10 miles on their odometer.

The paperwork has 15 miles but the car has 3 miles.

Looks like GCFCU is dead now since they will now only provide loans to people in Florida. Seems like a new rule that was implemented today, 2/24.

Curious as to who your loan processor was? Mine was Garrett, we docusigned our paperwork today and said he would overnight the check but didn't give me tracking number. we also got 2.99% for 60mo

Atm, this does impact use for all owners, even those without FSD. With USS, you could see on screen exactly how close you are to objects even those you cannot see on your cameras. This was an excellent feature when parking in tight spaces or around objects not visible by the cameras. Without USS, you are now visibly limited just like any other vehicle.

However, there have been few reports of non-USS equipped vehicles with the distance measuring turned back on. Tesla needs to turn this feature back on for all vehicles.
I picked up a MYLR last week from existing inventory. How do you find out if your car has USS equipped or not? I only have standard autopilot. Not enhanced or full self driving

None of the build (for Model Y and 3) after October 2022 have them:
