Deal Details
Tesla has dropped the base price of the Tesla Model Y from $65,990 down to $52,990. This price reduction means the Model Y now qualifies for the $7,500 Federal Tax Credit (details here).

Thanks to Community Member MurraytheDemonSkull for finding this deal.

Additionally, the base prices of all Tesla vehicles have been reduced. The base Model 3 is now $43,990, which is $3,000 lower than before. The Model 3 Performance is now $53,990, which is $9,000 lower than before, and now qualifies for the tax credit.

Editor's Notes

Written by RazorConcepts
  • This is $13,000 lower (19% savings) than the previous base price.
  • Factoring in the tax credit, the price of the Model Y today is $20,000 less than one purchased in December 2022.
  • To qualify for the federal tax credit, one must not exceed the following adjusted gross income limits:
    • $300,000 for married couples filing jointly
    • $225,000 for heads of households
    • $150,000 for all other filers
  • The tax credit is not refundable, which means one must have federal tax due to take advantage of it. If the tax due is less than the credit amount, one can only claim the credit up to the amount of the tax due.
  • Refer to the forum thread for additional deal discussion.

I want to like my Tesla, but they keep sending it to Lyndhurst, OH for someone else to buy immediately rather than filling my order. Anyone else notice that over the last month? Even today 9 of the 20 inventory LR are in OH. Let's hope that doesn't cost a lot of us our tax credits.

I purchased a Tesla Model 3 Performance and picking it up today.

I'm trying to confirm that it qualifies for the federal/state (MA) EV tax credit. When I was buying it, on the Tesla page, it showed that the vehicle price comes out to $54,990 (M3P + $1K for white interior). However, when I'm looking at the Registration & Title application, it's showing $56,630 for MSVRP & sales price....which would DISQUALIFY me for the tax credit.

The thing is the $56,630 includes $1,390 of destination fee + $250 of order fee. Can someone please advise? As this would make an impact on whether I pick it up or re-order.

Standard MYLR. Previous EDD range was March 7-31. Today that got updated to March 27-31. No vin yet! Is this a good sign or a bad sign?

I wanted to see if this date change to a shorter range is a sign of getting a vin soon?

Your good. Destination and order fee does not apply towards total.

What's your plan now?
Went with my existing credit union since I don't want to deal with Wells Fargo. My application with armco is still pending. Will refinance if that go through, else might just pay off early.

Hey guys, with Tower CFU Loan,
what do you enter in the field where Tesla requires to enter Financial Partner Information?
and Does Tower CFU sends the check directly to Tesla or to customer?
