Get $300 with a new checking account and another $200 with a new savings account with qualifying activities. Plus, get an extra $400 bonus when you open both accounts at the same time. TOTAL $900.

Checking offer is not available to existing Chase checking customers. Savings offer is not available to existing Chase savings customers. Both offers are not available to those whose accounts have been closed within 90 days or closed with a negative balance within the last 3 years. You can receive only one new checking and one new savings account opening related bonus every two years from the last coupon enrollment date and only one bonus per account. Coupon is good for one-time use.

To receive the checking bonus:
1) Open a new Chase Total Checking account, which is subject to approval;

AND 2) Have your direct deposit made to this account within 90 days of coupon enrollment. Your direct deposit needs to be an electronic deposit of your paycheck, pension or government benefits (such as Social Security) from your employer or the government. Person to Person payments (such as Zelle®) are not considered a direct deposit. Micro-deposits do not qualify as a direct deposit for the bonus. Micro-deposits are small deposits, typically less than $1, that are sent to your account to verify it is the correct account. After you have completed all the above checking requirements, we'll deposit the bonus in your new account within 15 days.

To receive the savings bonus:
1) Open a new Chase SavingsSM account, which is subject to approval;

2) Deposit a total of $15,000 or more in new money into the new savings account within 30 days of coupon enrollment;

AND 3) Maintain at least a $15,000 balance for 90 days from the coupon enrollment. The new money cannot be funds held by you at Chase or its affiliates. After you have completed all the above savings requirements, we'll deposit the bonus in your new account within 15 days.

To receive the extra bonus:
You must open the checking and savings account at the same time and complete all requirements above for BOTH the checking bonus and savings bonus. After you have completed all requirements, we will deposit the remaining bonus due in your new account within 15 days.

To receive any of the above bonuses, the enrolled account must not be closed or restricted at the time of payout. Bonuses are considered interest and will be reported on IRS Form 1099-INT (or Form 1042-S, if applicable).

23% return on investment, not bad at all.

$900 / $15,500 = 0.058

0.058 * 4 quarters = 23%
lol what? You're getting $900 for 90 days with $15,000. You need to redo your math.

You can receive only one new checking and one new savings account opening related bonus every two years from the last coupon enrollment date and only one bonus per account. Does this mean if a new acct bonus was received and that acct was closed within last 1 year, we do not qualify for this bonus?

I think you have to be a US citizen to open an account online. Anyway, it'll probably work if u go to the branch.

Am I eligible for a bonus?

Am I eligible for a bonus if I'm already a Chase customer?
Bonuses are for people who don't have existing Chase checking or savings accounts, or those whose accounts have not been closed within the last 90 days. Keep in mind, you can receive only one new checking and one new savings account opening related bonus every two years from the last coupon enrollment date and only one bonus per account.

Am I eligible for a bonus if I was a Chase checking or savings customer in the past?
Offer not available to existing Chase checking or savings customers, or those whose accounts have been closed within 90 days or closed with a negative balance within the last 3 years. To receive this bonus, the enrolled account must not be closed or restricted at the time of payout.

My daughter got this reply. She's never had a Chase account of any kind, has great credit (though I don't know what that would have to do with anything since it's just opening a checking/savings account), and, another poster said you need to be a US citizen, well she is. I did the promotion and it went through without a problem.
She will have to make the time to go down to a Chase branch with the coupon code to see what's up. The customer service on the phone didn't really help. She said it was a target code even though I told her it's on their website.

If your bonus was received more than 2 years ago, and account was closed more than 90 days ago, then you are eligible.

I have done Chase before on their 225 bonus. I'm waiting on Citi bank bonus right now. I like FREE 💰.

I guess I'm SOL on this. I got a bonus in 2022. Fine print says I can't have held account in the last 2 years.

Your account was opened but we're having trouble applying your offer. We will send you an email once it's been applied.

Did anyone get something like this ?

yes I got the same error. wondering if it was because I already have a checking account? I'm trying to get the savings account bonus but its unclear if I'm eligible if I received a checking account bonus last year,

Yes, I have $15k readily available...
As to what I do for a living - I have a job!

Oh, and I live WAY below my means, don't have ANY debt, pay off my credit cards in full every month while enjoying the benefits of hotel & airline miles...and every bank bonus out there I can find.

I'm also old - but was young once and lived paycheck to paycheck, ran up credit card debt, financed vehicles, etc...but learned a long time ago to use money to make money and not finance someone else's lifestyle!
Very well said and well done!!!! We also had a lot of debt and lived paycheck to paycheck---Guess what--we didn't stop to eat--we didn't have all the luxuries but made sure that the bills were paid and food on the table. Never stopped for a drink--packed a cooler in the heat of Texas--and drank water/sodas that were in the cooler on long shopping trips and other trips. It's amazing the $$$ people spend on quick stops--If your not paying a credit card off every month then those stops are costing you a lot more then what your paying at fast food/quick stops.

It is critical to have your money working for you. You will never get ahead if you don't have your money earning money at the same time. Everyone has to think out of the box and look for ways to save $$$ and earn $$$. We are thankful for websites like this and a few others where people share the good deals and $$$ making deals.

Several years ago Bank Of America offered me a 0% or 1% balance transfer with a 1% or less transaction fee. I had at least 70K avail for a balance transfer. I had them put it in a bank that was paying 7% interest--then I moved some to a 3 month special account paying over 9%. I had this money earning interest every month and would laugh when I received my BOA statements to see the little interest I was paying them while the money I got from them was earning the 7% or above. I set up auto payments right out of their own $$$ and paid it off before it went into the higher interest out of their $$$$. Haven't seen those offers lately. All of them have at least a 3 to 5% transaction fee so I have to pass on them. But still keep my eyes open. That ordeal was between a 1800 to 2600 profit and I never touched the $$$.

People If this is not for you--move right along and find another deal or stay in your box.

Here is the email I received from Chase. Wish I would have known this for sure--I would have waited to transfer the 15K in but there were too many questions and the banker couldn't answer why it said keep 15K in there from coupon enrollment time--and she said I would definitely have to have the 15K in there for 90 days. Well this surely doesn't say that. This really clarifies things.
