I got the Hart 6 gal 5 hp from Walmart for $39. Haven't used it for wet yet but it did a great job on my filthy minivan interior

I have the larger Dewalt size, from Costco , and it is far superior to any other shop vac I've owned, so I would assume this smaller version would be the same quality

How do you get 4 horsepower in a 120v 15A outlet?

120v 15A = 1800watts

1 horsepower = 745 watts.

You can only get a little over 2 horsepower in a regular outlet.

It's some trickier with "peak" horsepower. Not sustained

Agree. Bought the Costco one because I was tired of hauling my 15 year old Shop Vac around the house. Holy cow the DeWalt is SO much better of a vacuum, now I find myself hauling THAT one around the house LOL.

Same. I use that one only for cleaning out my hot tub, and it's the best one I've had. Buying this one for use around the house.
