Anyone have any idea if these would be good at a shooting range?

I would say that an NNR of 25 for shooting at the range would barely be the minimum. Ear protection is always important for the long-term, so I would suggest shelling out a little more for something NNR 30+dB. I would also suggest doubling-up with some earplugs under the earmuffs as well.

Yeah I went to a range two weeks ago with just earplugs and my tinnitus barely stopped yesterday. I go very rarely and am not around loud noises except for children.

Definitely recommend adequate ear protection

Why's that? I have about 3 dozen micro usb cables lying around the house. Makes for easy charging. Got enough to permanently keep a handful in every travel bag I own plus drawers on all floors of my house and then some.

Micro USB has been end of life for at least five years. The only companies that still use it are crappy Chinese companies or companies that don't want to spend a couple dollars changing the design. It has always been a low quality connector that has far outlived its time and usefulness. Imagine buying a new car and on the spec sheet is throttle body injection and drum brakes.

Rating aside, these look like standard fat earmuffs. If you're trying to aim a rifle it might get in the way as you lean into the sight. Check out Walker's Razor for an example of "Low Profile" earmuffs.

They're so good! I love mine! You can adjust the gain, so I can hear myself walking through the long grass enough to actually notice the sound. I had basic ones for so long that when I borrowed them, I instantly shelled out the money and I have no regrets! And I'm extremely cheap.
