I hear ya, I wish everything was C by now.

Still, I'm thankful its some form of USB and not a proprietary cable that would get lost instantly.

Micro USB.

Do any of these exist in usb c? Looked at isotunes , 3m, random amazon labels, all older micro USB surprisingly.

I got a 3 pack of USBC to micro adapters on Amazon for like $ 5. I just keep one in the car and the other 2 at the most used charging cables in the house. I don't have to change cords or plugs just the little 1" adapter on the end of the plug.

I was thinking of the same thing.

Saw this 4 pack [amazon.com] for $6.99 and they come w/ keychains to attach to the cables.

Most reviews I've seen on Amazon and DeWalt say it's fine for noise protection but music/charging/button functions are extremely low quality. So don't get these unless you're only going to use them for noise protection

If you're in any real noise condition, you may be better off getting a cheap pair of hearing protection and one of this style earbuds:

Basically what I do minus the cheap hearing protection.
Good pair of hearing protection with some noise cancelling headphones. It works great!

I tried that too, and its ok for short burts but man the 3M Worktunes are all day comfy and sound surprisingly good. They're no airpod pros but they are better than cheap earbuds.

These are the bomb, especially with the little keychain things to keep them attached and not getting lost. They make them in the opposite adapter too, have several of those.

I use these because my Raspberry pi 4 power cord comes with USB-C (because of the higher 5V output) but have some Pi zero W's that still have Micro-USB. One cord with that little adapter to rule them all!

These are for hearing protection, not noise canceling. Required for OSHA standards and a good idea for anyone using power tools, etc.

Noise canceling unfortunately doesn't prevent hearing damage unless specifically rated to do so.
