There are much better-functioning pieces available for less money -- better ladles, better spatulas, better spoons. Heck the slotted spoon isn't even slotted -- it has little holes that are a proven inferior design. Sorry, but...

I can't find the video episode but that's where they talked in more detail about why properly-spaced slots consistently outperformed perforations, but it makes sense. The ones with slots shed water quickly. The ones with perforations did not.
