Yeah… The 1080Ti launched at $699 MSRP. This beats the 3090 in some use cases and that launched at $1499. I don't know what universe these guys traveled from where the top 5 fastest GPUs ever all cost less than $500.

This card for $685 is a good deal. It's an even better deal open box, with the credit card, etc. PC parts always get cheaper as time goes on… you wanna use a computer or just shop for one?

I'm not a gamer so this would be MASSIVE overkill for my needs, but I'm curious, what's the minimum card one should get for 4k games at acceptable quality, assuming that the rest of your setup is up to the task? Does this make the cut? I have a 4k monitor so someday it would be nice to have a card that can do it justice.

Couple Open Box 6950s at Tustin. I find MC's Open Box can be hit or miss. People return junk and its not checked properly sometimes. Found a GPU with serious Lean and not working. And a TV that was busted when I checked it in store simply by plugging it in

A couple open box cards at my local MicroCenter for $614. My budget is for a 6800xt, but that's very tempting at a $100 more. I'll have to upgrade my PSU if I spring on this though! What a boss of a card for that price.

Yep, this PowerColor 6950XT was already sold out but I took a chance and bought the beastly open box Sapphire Nitro+ model for $724.96, with its remaining warranty. If it's bad, I will just return it.

this isn't overpriced tho..it was released mid 2022 and is well below msrp

to be fair, DLSS is needed for RT, even for a strong card like RTX 4090. AMD has FSR inplace of DLSS, although it, being a software, wont be as good as DLSS, which is dedicated hardware. but if you dont care about RT, thats half the chip you wont be using on a nVidia chipset.
